As businesses prepare to reopen over the next few weeks, we are continuing to support the Jewellery Trade and will be open Monday through to Friday. To ensure we continue to deliver a high level of customer service during these challenging times, please review the following information:
Like many other businesses, the Birmingham Assay Office temporarily closed its doors on Tuesday 24th March for three weeks as stipulated by the Government. On 16th April, Hallmarking operations as well AnchorCert Pro testing resumed service to support the trade and fulfil its statutory obligations.
While non-essential businesses have been forced to close, Government guidance states other businesses should continue to operate if they can do so safely. To support the trade, and fulfil our statutory obligations, whilst operating in a safe environment for our staff, we will be re-opening some of our operations, with skeleton staff, for Hallmarking and AnchorCert Pro testing on Thursday 16th April and Friday 17th April.
