Assay Office Birmingham’s independent, world-class AnchorCert Gem Lab searches for rising gemmological stars!

Following its seamless transition from its iconic Newhall Street residence to new state-of-the-art headquarters on Moreton Street, Assay Office Birmingham (AOB) is now looking to add to its existing and well-documented internal talent bank, through the recruitment of a new Senior Gemmologist to the existing AnchorCert Gem Lab team.

This exciting role is the lead vacancy on AOB’s new careers pages, which can be found at www.theassayoffice.co.uk/careers-main with a closing date of 1st September for applications.

Assay Master and CEO Stella Layton said: “This is a cracking role for an ambitious, experienced gemmologist. It’s no secret that quality gemmology jobs are few and far between on this side of the pond, so we really want to shout about this role – for the right applicant it has so much potential!

“We’re looking for a high level of calibre, we trade on the strength of our entire gemmological team, underpinned by our companywide focus on quality and independence. It’s a very exciting time to join the team, so we’d encourage applicants near and far to apply.”

Commenting on the new vacancy, Operations Director Carla Goodfellow said: “This is such an amazing opportunity, not least because of the opportunities for business growth, both in the UK and globally. We’re looking forward to receiving high-quality applications, as we are all too well aware of the scarcity of opportunities such as this.

“We’d encourage applicants to review the role requirements carefully as we are looking an individual with a high level of expertise and relevant qualifications that can not only add to our business but also has a focus on their own and their team’s personal continuous development. This is truly is an opportunity to be part of an industry leading, world class team.”
