Protecting the Consumer and Servicing
the Trade with Independence and Integrity

Looking forward to an  interesting discussion at our IJL seminar on the grading issues in the diamond industry. AnchorCert Academy Director Marion Wilson will facilitate a discussion between four key figures in the UK jewellery industry. President of the London Diamond Bourse and Gem-A, Harry Levy will be joined by NAG Chairman, Director and Diamond buyer for F Hinds Andrew Hinds, Adam Gillary Head of Buying for SWAG jewellers and Marie Chalmers UK Head of Valuations for White Pine LLC.

Assay Office Birmingham is very concerned about the potential damage to the reputation of the industry that increasing issues with regard to inconsistencies in diamond reports could cause.

Diamond Industry Insight: Diamond Grading

A seminar and discussion hosted by Assay Office Birmingham

International Jewellery London - Sunday 6th September  12:15 - 13:15 in the Inspiration Theatre

Wilson says "There has been a lot of talk and effort made at top level and a few individuals trying to change things. . The objective of the seminar is to provoke thought and prompt action and try to encourage everyone in the supply chain to consider taking some ownership of this problem and not think that it belongs to someone else to resolve.

We have invited a panel who are experiencing the issues themselves on  daily basis, to encourage the audience  to engage with the problem and  consider the long term consequences of over grading."

Come along and have your say ....
