On Tuesday, Assay Office Birmingham will deliver its second seminar at IJL, this time focussing on Successful Retailing - Understanding Customers, Understanding Products (11:30 - 12:30 in the Olympia Room).
Commercial Director, Nyasha Pitt will facilitate a panel discussion to explore the requirements for successful retail sales, balancing product knowledge with an understanding of the customer and their individual requirements.
Retail Development Manager for Endless Jewelry, Jennie Higgins and Andrew Morton, Managing Director of WB The Creative Jewellery Group will explain their approach in ensuring that retail staff understand the nuances and USP's of their brand and how to convert that into sales.
Successful independent retailer Peter Wong will outline what he considers important for his team in delivering sales targets and encouraging repeat business.
The balance between the expectations of the brands, the retailer and the customer is certain to be discussed. Following the panelists short presentations, there will be an opportunity for the audience to share their thoughts.
