Coffee morning 2 The Birmingham Assay Office was pleased to take part in the ‘Jewellery Quarter Coffee Morning’for Macmillan Cancer Support on 26th September by hosting its own Coffee and Cake Event! macmillan Employees put their baking skills to the test and created a vast array of delicious cakes and pastries for their colleagues to enjoy and raised over £140 for MacMillan, whose work in providing practical, medical and financial support for cancer sufferers and their families is vitally important. Coffee morning 3 The event, co-ordinated by the Jewellery Quarter Development Trust, attracted the support of over 30 local businesses and collectively contributed to MacMillan’s wider appeal to as many people all living in Birmingham and the Black country to help raise over £500,000 by drinking coffee and eating cake! Coffee morning
