MP Gisela Stuart (Lab Edgbaston) has said: “It is a chance to show people a side of Birmingham they may not know about. The last time the Westminster bubble came to Birmingham was for a party conference, and even then they may not get to see very much of the city. So we are going to show them what Birmingham is all about.'' “It’s also a chance for key people and organisations in the city to speak to each other. We are such a large and diverse city that we don’t always get the chance to do that.” Our bags are now packed, our roller banners ready and we can't wait to show The House Of Commons what Birmingham has to offer, industries on show include chocolate & jewellery, modern manufacturing like liquid air energy, asian fashion and food, innovation in medicine, music from Hip Hop to the classics, Birmingham's new state of the art library and much much more! Make sure to check out www.assaynews.co.uk over the coming days to read all about the event.
