Roy Smith
Customer Service Manager

Overview: Roy Smith joined the Assay Office in 1946 and worked first as a delivery boy and unpacker and then as a hallmarker until 1949, when he left to undertake his National Service. Roy returned in 1951 and until 1981 worked in the Hallmarking department, becoming a foreman in 1973. Between 1981 and 1996, Roy was a Customer Service Manager.
