Main Duties of Job:

This is a production role providing flexible resource and capacity to the Hallmarking Operational teams.

Due to the variable nature of the workload, the role may work in a specific department for extended periods or may be required to flex across the operational areas listed below.

  • Assay/XRF analysis

Follow defined methods and procedures to obtain and confirm metal standard results for items submitted for hallmarking 

  • Laser marking/Punch marking

Operating laser marking equipment and/or using a range of punch presses to apply hallmarks in accordance with customer instructions and internal working documents

  • Handling

Bagging and un-bagging customer items is an integral part of the marking role


Full training will be provided. Once trained, operators are expected to consistently meet the quality and volume outputs required.

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.
